Mohammad Rizwan: “I am always speaking to them in Pashto – in fact so much that Azhar bhai says to me, please speak in Urdu so that he can also understand what I am saying”

Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has revealed that Test captain Azhar Ali sometimes can’t understand what he is saying since he speaks in Pashto instead of Urdu.

Misbah-ul-Haq: “All the bowlers seem fine at the moment. They bowled a decent amount of overs but not too much so I don’t think there are issues of fatigue at the moment”

Pakistan head coach and chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq made it clear that none of the bowlers are fatigued, but stopped short of saying whether any changes will be made for the second Test against England.

Former Pakistan captain and chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has revealed that opening batsman Saeed Anwar “was the most nervous person in the dressing room”.

Misbah-ul-Haq: “People want to see quality cricket. They want to see Mitchell Starc or Naseem Shah bowling at full throttle, so that they enjoy their spell. Such workload can shorten their career due to injuries”
