Former Pakistan pace bowler Tanvir Ahmed said he wants to see the old Babar Azam again – the version of the star batter who played a fearless brand of cricket and dominated bowling attacks with ease.

In two previous interviews with Cricket Psychologist Adrian McInman, we discussed “pressure”, perception, and “stress”. Today, I challenged his ideas with Naseem Shah’s March 2024 comments about fear.
Naseem Shah: “If a newcomer performs in one game, the main bowlers are afraid of their place in the XI and wonder if they will be retained for the next game. That fear does not allow players to rest because sometimes when you rest, your career can end up resting in peace”
