Former Pakistan bowling coach Morne Morkel said the pace duo of Hasan Ali and Haris Rauf were given a “slightly new role” of “bowling with the new ball in powerplays” during the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Misbah-ul-Haq: “He has wasted Haris Rauf by bringing him on in the powerplay when there are only two fielders outside the circle. He should be brought on with at least a sweeper at cover and three other fielders on the leg-side deep”
