Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has opened up about his approach to batting, saying he will counterattack if the situation demands it.

Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali has claimed that red-ball head coach Jason Gillespie basically told the batsmen to shut up after they wanted all the grass to be cut off the pitch during their Test series against England.
Wasim Akram: “He said in the post-match press conference that the wicket was a bit difficult which is why I wanted to send in a proper batter. I hope that was a language barrier because if that’s case it means that he will come out to bat early when the pitch is easy but send anyone else if that’s not the case”
