The Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) head of media Sami-ul-Hasan has confirmed that Peshawar won’t hold any Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches next year.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief executive Wasim Khan has hinted at the possibility of hosting numerous bilateral series following the postponement of this year’s T20 World Cup to October 2021.

Wasim Khan: “The fact that we have logistically hosted the entire Pakistan Super League in Pakistan, and also teams like Sri Lanka and Bangladesh for Test matches, besides other smaller events and series shows we are capable of hosting a big ICC event”

Sri Lanka will host a Twenty20 charity match between a Sri Lanka XI and World XI on September 8 in Colombo, with the proceeds going towards Sri Lanka Cricket’s (SLC) charity, Cricket Aid.
