Former Pakistan selector Wahab Riaz has confirmed that there were plans to give promising fast bowlers Abbas Afridi and Zaman Khan more playing time.
Sarfraz Nawaz: “Nobody paid heed to my suggestion. I knew well that Wahab was not capable of delivering in any capacity yet he was made selector, advisor and manager. On all fronts, he failed”

Former Pakistan fast bowler Sarfraz Nawaz said he warned Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairmen Zaka Ashraf and Mohsin Naqvi about Wahab Riaz.
