Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad said he knew fast bowler Hasan Ali would return to the national team since assistant coach Azhar Mahmood likes him a lot.
Hasan was recalled to the T20I team and featured in the three-match T20I series against Ireland, which the men in green won 2-1.
The 29-year-old only played one game, but went wicketless and gave away 42 runs in the three overs he bowled.
In addition to Mahmood, Shehzad noted that selector Wahab Riaz and limited overs captain Babar Azam have a good relationship with Hasan.
