Karachi Kings owner Salman Iqbal believes when Pakistan batsman Babar Azam returns to form, he will be bigger than India superstar Virat Kohli and on the same level as the legendary West Indian duo of Sir Garfield Sobers and Sir Viv Richards.

Karachi Kings owner Salman Iqbal has revealed that the decision to release Pakistan batsman Babar Azam stemmed from his refusal to bat at number three.
Salman Iqbal: “We never stopped Babar Azam from eating karahi. Whenever Babar wanted to eat karahi, we provided him. He was also allowed to leave [the] hotel late in the night along with other local players in the team”

Karachi Kings batsman Babar Azam has revealed that team owner Salman Iqbal will be gifting an apartment to each member of the squad after they won the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the first time.
Salman Iqbal: “When we picked Amir in the first season, we were criticised. People were very angry with us. Many players, who played from Karachi Kings, said we will not play for this franchise. We will not enter the draft because we don’t want to go to Karachi Kings”
