Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed firmly believes that every other team in the World Cup are scared of his side since they are unpredictable.

Pakistan have endured a turbulent start to their World Cup campaign as they lost to the West Indies by seven wickets before beating England by 14 runs.

In their most recent game against Sri Lanka in Bristol on Friday, they had to settle for a point as the game was washed out without a ball being bowled.

With their next game against Australia in Taunton on Wednesday, Sarfraz confirmed that his side will ensure they are well prepared for the match.

He added that given Pakistan’s unpredictability, “every other side is scared of us”.

“We now have a couple of days before the match against Australia so we will work hard before that game,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion. “The momentum was very high after the England game and we really wanted to play today but we still have a very confident side, so hopefully we will do well against Australia.

“We all know that the Pakistan side is considered unpredictable so every other side is scared of us; On a given day, we can be a very difficult opponent as we saw in the game against England.

“We know that Australia are a very strong team so we have to play stronger, we have a couple of days left before that game so we will work harder.”
