Basit Ali: “Shan Masood should punish Shafique. This is Pakistan’s team, not your local team”

Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali believes Test captain Shan Masood should have punished opening batsman Abdullah Shafique for the way he got out in the first Test against Bangladesh.
Nick Knight: “You can’t bowl top of off-stump. You can’t bowl short. You can’t bowl full. You just can’t bowl to him at the moment”

Nick Knight, the former England batsman, said bowlers “just can’t bowl” to Pakistan captain Babar Azam right now since he is in such good form and punishing them.
Babar Azam: “We will certainly pick them (Wahab, Amir) if we feel they are needed in the team. There’s no such thing that if they don’t have a central contract, they are out of the team or are being punished”

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has revealed that Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez will still be on the selectors’ radar going forward.
