Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan said he highly rates batsman Abdullah Fazal and all-rounders Saad Masood and Shadab Khan.

Fazal made his international debut earlier this year during Pakistan’s Test series against Bangladesh in May and scored 141 runs, which included two fifties, at an average of 35.25.

Masood has played one ODI, which came against Bangladesh in March, and made 38 runs. He also made his T20I debut in the final of the Asian Games against India on October 3, where he struck an unbeaten 12 and went wicketless.

As for Shadab, he has long been a member of Pakistan’s ODI and T20I squads, with his last appearance coming during the ODI series against Australia between May and June, where he took two wickets at an average of 69 and amassed 100 runs, which included a top score of 71, at an average of 100.

“I highly rate Abdullah Fazal, while Saad Masood is a positive player. We have no backup of Shadab Khan, but you can still see a spark in them,” Rizwan was quoted as saying by A Sports.

Fazal is now playing first-class cricket for State Bank of Pakistan in the President’s Trophy Grade-I competition and has amassed 314 runs in two games, which includes a career-best 309 not out, at an average of 157.

Shadab has represented Ghani in one game so far, scoring 68 runs and claiming four wickets.
