Pakistan opening batsman Sahibzada Farhan said he has put considerable effort into developing his six-hitting ability.
He revealed that he practises with “new balls, old balls, and worn-out balls” to ensure he can clear the boundary at any stage of an innings.
“There is a lot of effort behind my six-hitting. I practice range-hitting with new balls, old balls, and worn-out balls,” Farhan was quoted as saying by A Sports.
The 30-year-old has been among Pakistan’s leading performers in T20Is this year. He was the highest run-scorer at the 2026 T20 World Cup, where he also scored two centuries.
Farhan has continued his excellent form in domestic cricket, scoring centuries for the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Pakistan Blues in the National Champions Cup.
He is currently captaining the men in green at the Asian Games in Nisshin, Japan, where the team reached the final after defeating Bangladesh in the semi-final.
