Veteran Pakistan cricketer Ahmed Shehzad said opener Sahibzada Farhan is “one of the hottest T20 players” in the world right now.

Farhan has been a force to be reckoned with in the shortest format as he has notched up a number of centuries, including two at the 2026 T20 World Cup and one at the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL) while representing the Multan Sultans.

Given the 30-year-old’s outstanding performances, Shehzad said there is no denying he is right up there with the best in T20s.

“Certainly one of the hottest T20 players going around in the world at the moment,” he said on X.

Farhan was not picked for Pakistan’s recent three-Test series against England, where the men in green were whitewashed 3-0.

He did, however, play in the National Champions Cup, a 50-over domestic competition, and amassed 138 runs in three games for Pakistan Blues, which included a hundred, at an average of 46.
