Sameer Minhas: “It is difficult to pick Abrar Ahmed and Usman Tariq but it is more challenging to pick Usman Tariq”

Pakistan batsman Sameer Minhas has admitted that it is tougher to pick Usman Tariq than Abrar Ahmed, despite both being among the country’s top mystery spinners.
Both Tariq and Abrar have bamboozled batsmen on multiple occasions with their unorthodox styles and variations.
Minhas acknowledged that while both are challenging to face, Tariq proved to be the more difficult of the two to read.
“It is difficult to pick Abrar Ahmed and Usman Tariq but it is more challenging to pick Usman Tariq,” the 19-year-old was quoted as saying by Khel Shel.
Minhas played in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier this year and accumulated 349 runs in 11 matches for Islamabad United, which included three fifties, at an average of 38.77 and a strike-rate of 155.80.
He is now representing Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited in the President’s Trophy Grade-I, which is Pakistan’s first-class tournament.
In the match against State Bank of Pakistan, he only batted once and made 24 runs.
