Pakistan spin-bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan said batsman Sameer Minhas “is a very exciting talent”.
Minhas is widely regarded as one of Pakistan’s brightest prospects, with many believing an international debut could be on the horizon.
The 19-year-old showcased the talent he possesses while representing Islamabad United in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is the team Shadab captains.
In 11 matches, he amassed 349 runs, which included three fifties, at an average of 38.77 and a strike-rate of 155.80.
“He is a very exciting talent,” Shadab was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
Both Shadab and Minhas were not part of Pakistan’s squad for their recent three-Test series against England, which they lost 3-0.
Minhas recently made his first-class debut in the ongoing President’s Trophy Grade-I competition, scoring 24 runs for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited in a drawn match against State Bank of Pakistan.
