Australia batsman Ashton Turner has heaped praise on Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan, calling him an amazing player.
Turner played alongside Farhan while captaining the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier this year.
Farhan was in red-hot form throughout the tournament as he racked up 380 runs in 10 matches, which included a century and two fifties, at an average of 42.22 and a strike-rate of 166.66.
His most recent outing for Pakistan came during their three-match ODI series against Australia, where he mustered 37 runs at an average of 12.33.
“Sahibzada Farhan is amazing. It’s one of the really fortunate parts of travelling the world and playing cricket, you get to go and see some amazing players and he’s one of them,” Turner was quoted as saying by journalist Saj Sadiq on X.
Farhan was not selected for Pakistan’s two-Test series against the West Indies, which ended in a 1-1 draw, nor their three-Test series against England, which the men in green lost 3-0.
