Salman Ali Agha: “Nawaz has consistently delivered with the bat since his comeback”

Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha has praised spin-bowling all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz for his batting, saying he has consistently delivered since making his international comeback.
In the 2025 Asia Cup, he scored 113 runs in seven matches at an average of 18.83 and a strike-rate of 136.14.
Having been picked in the team as an all-rounder, Salman hopes the 31-year-old continues having an impact with both the bat and ball.
“Nawaz has consistently delivered with the bat since his comeback,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
After the Asia Cup, Nawaz was involved in Pakistan’s home series against South Africa.
He missed the two-Test series, but played all three T20Is, where he made 36 runs at an average of 18 and a strike-rate of 171.42.
As for the three-match ODI series, the Rawalpindi native struck 68 runs, which included a career-best 59, at an average of 34.
Pakistan will now play Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series from November 11 to 15, and then compete in a T20I tri-series alongside Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe from November 17 to 29.
