Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha has praised spinner Abrar Ahmed, calling him a “match-winner”.
Abrar has become a key member of Pakistan’s white-ball squads and has had a major impact in both ODIs and T20Is.
During the T20I tri-series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Afghanistan, the 27-year-old picked up six wickets in two games at an average of 4.33 and an economy rate of 3.25.
He then proceeded to play in the 2025 Asia Cup, where he took six wickets in seven matches at an average of 23.83 and an economy rate of 5.36.
Salman is fully aware of how good the Karachi native has been and knows his spectacular bowling often leads the men in green to victory.
“Abrar is a match-winner,” he was quoted as saying by A Sports.
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a home series against South Africa from October 12 to November 8.
The series will consist of two Tests, three T20Is, and three ODIs.
