Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen has set his sights on Pakistan big-hitter Hasan Nawaz, saying he will look good in the team’s jersey in next year’s Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Hasan was one of the standout stars in PSL 10, finishing as the third-highest run-scorer with 399 runs in 12 matches for the Quetta Gladiators, which included a century and three fifties, at an average of 57 and a strike-rate of 162.19.
In addition to the 22-year-old, Tareen is also eyeing Lahore Qalandars all-rounder Sikandar Raza for PSL 11 in 2026.
Raza, who plays for Zimbabwe, amassed 254 runs in 11 matches, which included two fifties, at an average of 42.33 and a strike-rate of 169.33.
He also took 10 wickets at an average of 17.20 and an economy rate of 7.75.
“I think Hasan Nawaz and Sikander Raza will look great in MS jerseys next season,” Tareen said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
After PSL 10 concluded, Nawaz went on to play in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in Lahore and made 121 runs at an average of 60.50 and a strike-rate of 198.36.
