Yasir Hameed: “[Amir’s] biggest asset… still [the] most cunning white-ball bowler”

Former Pakistan batsman Yasir Hameed has called left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir the “most cunning white-ball bowler”.
Amir has been in fantastic form lately as he has been picking up plenty of wickets.
During the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), he troubled many of the top batsmen who played in the tournament and subsequently finished with 13 wickets in nine matches for the Quetta Gladiators at an average of 18.07 and an economy rate of 7.79.
“[Amir’s] biggest asset… still [the] most cunning white-ball bowler,” Hameed said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Given that Amir no longer plays international cricket, he was not picked for Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, which they won 3-0.
The men in green didn’t have the same level of success during their tour of Bangladesh as they lost the T20I series 2-1.
