Haris Rauf: “Ali Raza has made an impact among the emerging players”

Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf has hailed up-and-coming Pakistan fast bowler Ali Raza, saying the 17-year-old “has made an impact among the emerging players”.
Raza has become a household name in Pakistan following a string of impressive performances with the ball.
Additionally, people have been impressed with his bowling speed, which has been clocked at 146 kph.
During the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), the teenage pace sensation represented the Peshawar Zalmi and took 12 wickets in nine matches at an average of 25.25 and an economy rate of 9.18.
“Ali Raza has made an impact among the emerging players,” Rauf told Samaa TV.
Following PSL 10, Pakistan faced Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series, but Raza did not make the cut when the squad was announced.
Rauf, however, was part of the team and took one wicket in two games at an average of 59 and an economy rate of 11.80.
Pakistan then toured Bangladesh for a three-match T20I series, but neither Rauf nor Raza were picked.
The men in green ended up losing the series 2-1.
