Pakistan top order batsman Jahanzaib Sultan said he is a “naturally aggressive player” following a string of solid performances in domestic cricket.
Sultan recently featured in the National T20 Cup, where he amassed 113 runs in four games for Karachi Region Blues, which included a career-best 79 not out, at an average of 37.66 and a strike-rate of 159.15.
The 23-year-old left-hander then got the opportunity to play in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) as he represented the Multan Sultans in one game and scored 25 runs.
“I am [a] naturally aggressive player,” he told PakPassion.
Since he has yet to make his international debut, Sultan was not included in Pakistan’s team for the 2025 Champions Trophy and their white-ball tour of New Zealand.
After PSL 10, the men in green faced Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series, which they won 3-0.
Pakistan are now touring Bangladesh for a three-match T20I series, but trail 2-0 going into the 3rd T20I on July 24 in Mirpur.
