Hasan Ali: “I’m 30, far from finished. I want to contribute more to Pakistan, but I know selection depends on performance. My job is to keep delivering”

Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali has made it clear that he is “far from finished” with international cricket as he aims to “contribute more” to the national team.
Hasan has been in fabulous form lately as he was the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) with 17 wickets in 10 matches for the Karachi Kings at an average of 20.47 and an economy rate of 9.03.
He was subsequently called up for Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and continued to impress as he claimed eight wickets, which included a career-best five-wicket haul, at an average of 11.12 and an economy rate of 9.53.
The 30-year-old acknowledged that he will have to continue performing at a high level to keep hold of his spot in the team and has vowed to do just that.
“I’m 30, far from finished. I want to contribute more to Pakistan, but I know selection depends on performance. My job is to keep delivering,” he told Geo News as quoted by NDTV.
