Australia opening batsman David Warner acknowledged that Pakistan has so many talented cricketers, which is “great to see”.

Warner’s comments come after he captained the Karachi Kings in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL).

In the 11 matches he played, the 38-year-old amassed 368 runs, which included three fifties, at an average of 33.45 and a strike-rate of 153.97.

During his time in PSL 10, Warner praised the quality of cricket played and thinks the men in green are in a great place when it comes to the number of players with real potential.

“It’s been exciting cricket, and [there is] so much talent in this country (Pakistan), and it’s great to see,” Warner was quoted as saying on X, formerly known as Twitter.

After the PSL concluded, Pakistan went up against Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series, which they won 3-0.

This was a much-needed series win for the men in green as prior to this, they had been knocked out in the group stage of the 2025 Champions Trophy. After that, they went to New Zealand and were thrashed 4-1 in the T20I series before being whitewashed 3-0 in the ODIs.
