Big-hitter Yasir Khan said he knows the power he possesses when batting and was thankful to get the opportunity to show it off during the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Yasir, who played for the Multan Sultans, said he is particularly strong when hitting straight and over midwicket, and always backs his strengths whenever he is at the crease.
During PSL 10, the 23-year-old struck 226 runs in seven matches, which included a top score of 87, at an average of 32.28 and a strike-rate of 166.17.
“I know my power, I can hit it straight and over midwicket. Wanted to back my strengths. [I] had been waiting for my opportunity,” Yasir was quoted as saying by TOK Sports on X, formerly known as Twitter.
After the completion of PSL 10, Pakistan took on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series, but Yasir was not included in the team.
The men in green won the series 3-0.
