Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad has blasted ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan for constantly saying that the team is learning when they don’t win.
He noted that Rizwan cannot keep using the same excuse every time and must focus on winning matches.
The men in green have fallen well short of expectations lately as they hosted New Zealand and South Africa for an ODI tri-series, where they made it to the final before losing to the Black Caps.
Things got even worse during the 2025 Champions Trophy as they crashed out in the group stage after going winless.
Pakistan are now touring New Zealand and began their campaign in disappointing fashion as they were battered 4-1 in the T20I series.
“It’s just learning and learning here, no winning,” Shehzad said on his YouTube channel as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.
Pakistan and New Zealand are now playing a three-match ODI series, which the Black Caps lead 2-0 going into the 3rd ODI on April 5 in Mount Maunganui.
