New Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha said he has been batting well as of late.
Salman has become a crucial member of the national team as he has brought a lot of stability to the middle order, which used to be a constant area of concern in the past.
During the ODI tri-series against New Zealand and South Africa, the 31-year-old scored 219 runs in three matches, which included a career-best 134, at an average of 73.
He followed it up with 61 runs in two games in the 2025 Champions Trophy at an average of 30.50.
“I am batting well,” he was quoted as saying by TOK Sports on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pakistan lost to New Zealand and India in the Champions Trophy, and there therefore knocked out in the group stage.
Their final game against Bangladesh was abandoned due to rain.
The men in green will now embark on a tour of New Zealand, which will consist of five T20Is and three ODIs that will be played from March 16 to April 5.
