Stuart Broad: “Mohammad Amir against left-handers is just a classic”

Legendary England fast bowler Stuart Broad said left-handed batsmen need to watch out when facing Pakistan speedster Mohammad Amir as he has a knack of getting them out.
Broad admitted it is mesmerising to watch the 32-year-old in action against left-handers, calling it “a classic”.
Amir has been on a wicket-taking spree as of late and finished as Pakistan’s joint-highest wicket-taker in the 2024 T20 World Cup with seven wickets in four games at an average of 10.28 and an economy rate of 4.50.
He has since retired from international cricket again and is now featuring in T20 leagues around the world.
“Mohammad Amir against left-handers is just a classic,” Broad was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The Pakistan team recently toured Australia and won the ODI series 2-1 before being crushed 3-0 in the T20Is.
They then went to Zimbabwe and came away with a 2-1 win in both the ODI and T20I series.
Following this, the men in green travelled to South Africa and began by losing the T20I series 2-0 before bouncing back to claim a 3-0 victory in the ODIs.
As for the two-Test series, Pakistan were whitewashed 2-0.
Pakistan are now playing a two-Test series against the West Indies, which they lead 1-0 after winning the 1st Test in Multan by 127 runs.
The 2nd Test will get underway on January 25 in Multan.
