Pakistan pace bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi said he won’t be able to perform for the national team if he looked at all the “negative reports” written about him.
He noted that he ignores everything said about him since it is the best way to focus on his bowling and taking wickets, which is what he is in the team for.
“I don’t look at the negative reports [written about me]. Because if I look at them, then how will I perform for Pakistan?” he was quoted as saying by A Sports.
During Pakistan’s tour of Australia, Afridi took eight wickets in three ODIs at an an average of 12.62 before going onto claim one wicket in three T20Is at an average of 107.
