Mohammad Rizwan: “Just as you’ve made a name for yourself by scoring runs in domestic cricket, now make a name for Pakistan by scoring runs here”

Pakistan white-ball captain Mohammad Rizwan wants middle order batsman Kamran Ghulam to make a name for himself in international cricket.
Ghulam recently made his Test debut in the three-match series against England and began with a bang as he struck a magnificent 118 in the second Test in Multan, which came off 224 balls and included 11 boundaries and a six.
Overall, the 29-year-old finished with 147 runs at an average of 49.
Having gotten off to a fantastic start, Rizwan is eager to see the Upper Dir native maintain his momentum and start making the most of his opportunities in other formats too.
“Just as you’ve made a name for yourself by scoring runs in domestic cricket, now make a name for Pakistan by scoring runs here,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Ghulam is now featuring in Pakistan’s limited overs series against Australia, which consists of three ODIs and three T20Is.
In the ODI series, he scored five runs in the first ODI and didn’t need to bat in the second.
Following the tour of Australia, Pakistan will travel to Zimbabwe to play three ODIs and three T20Is from November 24 to December 5.
