Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahim admitted to being impressed by the Pakistan pace trio of Naseem Shah, Mohammad Ali and Mir Hamza.

Mushfiqur faced them in a practice game for Bangladesh A and in the two-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

In the series, Naseem took three wickets in the first Test at an average of 33.33, while Ali featured in both Tests and finished with two wickets at an average of 72.50.

As for Hamza, he claimed three wickets in the second Test at an average of 32.

“Bowlers also did well, especially Naseem Bhai, who bowled well, and then Mohammad Ali and Mir Hamza,” Mushfiqur was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The 37-year-old from Bogura did well in the Test series, amassing 216 runs, which included a top score of 191, at an average of 108.

Despite playing on home soil, Pakistan ended up being whitewashed 2-0.

Many of the national players are now involved in the Champions One-Day Cup, which is a domestic 50-over tournament being held in Faisalabad.

Pakistan’s next assignment will be a three-Test series against England, which will take place from October 7 to 28.
