Javed Miandad: “I wouldn’t just blame the players because whatever has happened in the board (PCB) in the last one-and-a-half years and the captaincy and management changes have affected the team”

Legendary Pakistan batsman Javed Miandad has admitted that the changes in captaincy and coaches over the past 18 months have really had a negative impact on the national team.
He noted there has been no consistency and the men in green’s results reflect that.
Pakistan recently took on Bangladesh in a two-Test series in Rawalpindi and lost 2-0 even though they were playing on home soil.
Miandad conceded that Bangladesh were much more disciplined, while adding that Pakistan’s batting collapses are a worrying sign.
“It is hurting that our cricket has come to this stage. Bangladesh deserve credit for their disciplined performances. But the way our batting has collapsed in this series is a bad sign,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
“I wouldn’t just blame the players because whatever has happened in the board (PCB) in the last one-and-a-half years and the captaincy and management changes have affected the team.”
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a three-match Test series against England, which is scheduled to be played from October 7 to 28.
