Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad likes what he has seen from up-and-coming fast bowler Khurram Shahzad, saying he exposed the weaknesses of the Bangladesh batsmen during their recent two-Test series.

Shahzad enjoyed a lot of success with the ball in both matches, which were held in Rawalpindi, and finished with nine wickets at an average of 24.44.

Shehzad pointed out that the 24-year-old pinpointed the “weak areas” of the Bangladesh batters and zeroed in on them before doing what the men in green picked him to do – take wickets.

“Khurram Shahzad bowled well… hitting the weak areas of the Bangladesh batsmen, exposing their weak techniques and dismissed them,” he said in a video on X, formerly known as Twitter, as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.

Despite Shahzad bowling beautifully in the series, Pakistan lost 2-0 to Bangladesh and will now take on England in a three-match Test series, which will be held from October 7 to 28.
