Bangladesh bowling coach Andre Adams has admitted it is imperative to “pay attention” to Pakistan batsmen Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan as they “can take the game away from you”.
Both players were recently involved in Pakistan’s two-Test series against Bangladesh, which the men in green surprisingly lost 2-0.
Azam was kept quiet throughout the series, mustering 64 runs at a disappointing average of 16.
Rizwan, on the other hand, was a run-scoring machine and accumulated 294 runs, which included a career-best 171 not out, at an average of 98.
“You have to pay attention to guys like Babar and (Mohammad) Rizwan, who can take the game away from you,” Adams told The Daily Star as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.
