Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja urged Test captain Shan Masood to get it together as he is “currently on a losing streak”.

Ramiz’s comments come after Pakistan suffered a shock 2-0 loss to Bangladesh in their Test series on home soil.

The former skipper acknowledged that he felt the men in green would struggle in their Test series against Australia from December 2023 to January 2024, but fully expected them to take down Bangladesh.

“Shan Masood is currently on a losing streak. I felt, in Australian conditions things are tougher and the Pakistan team couldn’t win a series there. But you are now losing in home conditions, against a team like Bangladesh, because you did not read the conditions well,” Ramiz said on his YouTube channel as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.

Masood didn’t have a major impact with the bat in the Test series against Bangladesh as he made 105 runs, which included a top score of 57, at an average of 26.25.
