Pakistan pace spearhead Shaheen Shah Afridi has admitted that he doesn’t know if he will be dropped for the upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh.
His comments come after red-ball head coach Jason Gillespie said the 24-year-old may miss the series for the birth of his first child.
While Afridi has not confirmed this, he also pointed out that it remains uncertain if he will be in the squad announced for the two Tests against Bangladesh.
“I don’t know if I’m being dropped from the Test series [against Bangladesh]. My role is to play cricket, and I would do that with dignity,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
