Younis Khan: “It’s not like that. Our current national team is very fit. When a team doesn’t win, such things are said”

Legendary batsman Younis Khan has expressed his support for the current Pakistan players, insisting that they are “very fit”.
His comments come after a question was asked regarding why the country’s retired cricketers seem to be in better shape than those in the national team right now.
However, Younis played this down and believes that such remarks are only being made because the men in green are not performing well.
“It’s not like that. Our current national team is very fit. When a team doesn’t win, such things are said,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
The Pakistan team was recently in action in the 2024 T20 World Cup and began with back-to-back losses to the United States of America and India before fighting back to defeat Canada and Ireland.
Even though they won their last two group stage games, it didn’t stop the men in green from being eliminated.
