Shaheen Shah Afridi: “Naseem deserves everything. The best thing about him is that he learns everything quickly, he is very smart and clever”

Shaheen Shah Afridi said fellow Pakistan pace bowler Naseem Shah “deserves everything” following the 21-year-old’s meteoric rise to stardom.
Naseem is one of the brightest talents in world cricket at the moment, which Afridi attributes to his ability to learn things quickly.
In addition to this, the 24-year-old pointed out that Naseem is a “very smart and clever” bowler.
“Naseem deserves everything. The best thing about him is that he learns everything quickly, he is very smart and clever,” Afridi was quoted as saying by Geo Super.
Naseem recently represented Pakistan in the 2024 T20 World Cup and took five wickets in three matches at an average of 14.20 and an economy rate of 5.91.
As for Afridi, he claimed five wickets in four games at an average of 21 and an economy rate of 6.56.
The men in green began with consecutive losses to the United States of America and India before bouncing back to defeat Canada and Ireland.
Despite triumphing in those two matches, they ended up being eliminated in the group stage of the competition.
