Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir: “As a senior bowler, I will always try to lead from the front”

Pakistan left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir said it is his duty to “lead from the front” as he is a “senior bowler” in the team.
Amir has plenty of international experience and after reversing his decision to retire from international cricket earlier in 2024, he is determined to make his presence felt with the ball.
The 32-year-old did exactly that during the 2024 T20 World Cup as he took seven wickets in four matches at an average of 10.28 and an economy rate of 4.50.
“As a senior bowler, I will always try to lead from the front,” he was quoted as saying by A Sports.
Pakistan lost their first two T20 World Cup matches against the United States of America and India before fighting back to take down Canada and Ireland.
Despite triumphing in their last two group stage games, the men in green failed to make it through to the Super Eights.
