Mohammad Wasim: “A lot of revelations will come out. They won’t stay hidden. If you’re claiming a rib injury, and it’s actually a knee injury… It’s a long-standing injury that you can see while running between the wickets, while bowling, and while fielding”

Former Pakistan chief selector Mohammad Wasim has claimed that left-arm spinner Imad Wasim tried to hide a knee injury by saying he had a rib issue instead.
Wasim noted that even though Imad may have attempted to fool people, all the “revelations will come out” and “won’t stay hidden” forever.
Imad recently represented Pakistan in the 2024 T20 World Cup and took three wickets in three matches at an average of 14.66 and an economy rate of four.
“A lot of revelations will come out. They won’t stay hidden. If you’re claiming a rib injury, and it’s actually a knee injury… It’s a long-standing injury that you can see while running between the wickets, while bowling, and while fielding,” Wasim was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Pakistan lost their first two T20 World Cup games against the United States of America and India before bouncing back to take down Canada and Ireland.
Even though they were victorious in their last two group stage matches, the men in green failed to book their spot in the Super Eights.
