
Mark Chapman: “I think in bowling you can’t look past Shaheen, he’s a Pakistani legend now. He brings excitement to the game”

New Zealand batsman Mark Chapman has heaped praise on Pakistan pace spearhead Shaheen Shah Afridi, calling him a “Pakistani legend.”
Afridi has earned a reputation as one of the best new ball swing bowlers in the world since he regularly strikes early.
Chapman noted that whenever the 24-year-old has the ball in his hand, there is an air of excitement around the ground as people are eager to see what potential magic he will conjure up.
“I think in bowling you can’t look past Shaheen, he’s a Pakistani legend now. He brings excitement to the game,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In Pakistan’s recent five-match T20I series against New Zealand, Afridi was on fire as he claimed eight wickets in four games at an average of 10 and an economy rate of 7.38.
Currently, he is featuring in the three-match T20I series against Ireland and has picked up (ENTER STATS HERE).Â
After this series, Pakistan will play four T20Is against England from May 22 to May 30.
