Hunain Shah: “When (Abdul) Razzaq brought me to Central Punjab for the first time, he supported me a lot… He gave me a lot of confidence in the beginning. He told me he believed in my bowling and I would do a lot better going forward”

Pakistan pace sensation Hunain Shah has thanked legendary all-rounder Abdul Razzaq for believing in his bowling and providing the support he needed while he developed his game.
Hunain, who is the younger brother of Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah, noted he gained plenty of confidence under Razzaq’s guidance while playing for Central Punjab and was constantly reassured that he was taking steps in the right direction.
The 20-year-old added that Razzaq always had no doubts that he “would do a lot better going forward.”
“When (Abdul) Razzaq brought me to Central Punjab for the first time, he supported me a lot… He gave me a lot of confidence in the beginning. He told me he believed in my bowling and I would do a lot better going forward,” he said during a press conference.
Hunain recently played for Islamabad United in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and took eight wickets in 10 matches at an average of 28.12 and an economy rate of 9.50.
Islamabad were crowned PSL 9 champions after beating the Multan Sultans by two wickets in the final.
