Ian Bishop: “His timing is sublime”

Former West Indies fast bowler Ian Bishop was amazed by Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Azam Khan’s timing while batting in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Azam, who is the son of ex-Pakistan captain Moin Khan, played for Islamabad United, who went on to be crowned PSL 9 champions.
In the 12 games he featured in, the 25-year-old amassed 226 runs, which included a top score of 75, at an average of 25.11 and a strike-rate of 171.21.
Azam wowed everyone with some of the shots he played throughout the tournament, including Bishop, who is now a renowned cricket commentator.
“His timing is sublime,” the former West Indian speedster said while commentating.
