England seamer Chris Jordan has hailed Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Ali’s work ethic, calling it “insane.”
Jordan and Ali both played for the Multan Sultans in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and helped the team reach the final, where they lost to Islamabad United.
Ali was one of the standout players in PSL 9 as he was the second-highest wicket-taker with 19 wickets in 12 matches at an average of 18.63 and an economy rate of 8.23.
Having played and trained with the 31-year-old, Jordan conceded that he was mightily impressed with the Sialkot native’s commitment to excellence.
“His work ethic is insane,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
Jordan ended his campaign in the PSL with six wickets in six games at an average of 29.50 and an economy rate of 8.42.
