Pakistan superstar Babar Azam has revealed that his “dream batting partner” would be South Africa legend AB de Villiers.

Azam noted that he has always wanted to bat with De Villiers, but it is something that has never happened.

In fact, the 29-year-old pointed out that he had the honour of playing against the Proteas great, but wished that he got the chance to play alongside him.

“AB De Villiers is always my dream batting partner. I have played against him but not with him,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.

Azam was recently in action for Pakistan in their three-match Test series against Australia, where he made 126 runs at an average of 21.
