Pakistan spin-bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan said the pace trio of Naseem Shah, Hunain Shah and Ubaid Shah have “a lot of talent.”
All three brothers are currently playing for Islamabad United in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is the team Shadab captains.
Naseem, 21, is one of Pakistan’s key bowlers in all three formats and returned to action in PSL 9 after spending months on the sidelines recovering from a shoulder injury.
Hunain, 20, has been performing well in domestic cricket lately, while Ubaid, 18, has been garnering significant attention for his outstanding bowling while representing the Pakistan Under-19 team.
“There is a lot of talent in [the] Shah brothers,” Shadab was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
So far in PSL 9, Naseem has taken six wickets in four matches at an average of 21.50 and an economy rate of 8.06, while Hunain has claimed one wicket in two games at an average of 49 and an economy rate of 9.80.
As for Ubaid, he has gone wicketless in the two matches he has played.
Shadab, meanwhile, has picked up six wickets in four games at an average of 18.50 and an economy rate of 6.93.
