Adam Hollioake: “He’s a very brave guy with a great attitude to the game and a fascinating guy to work with”

Pakistan batting coach Adam Hollioake said wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan is “a very brave guy” who is “fascinating” to work with.
Rizwan is Pakistan’s go-to wicketkeeper-batsman in limited overs cricket and is starting to win back his spot in the Test team as well since he has been outperforming Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Hollioake also praised the 31-year-old for his attitude, which is something many other former and current cricketers have picked up on when talking about Peshawar native.
“He’s a very brave guy with a great attitude to the game and a fascinating guy to work with,” he was quoted as saying by respected journalist Saj Sadiq on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Rizwan recently played in Pakistan’s three-match Test series against Australia and amassed 193 runs in two games, which included a top score of 88, at an average of 48.25.
He then went on to score 184 runs in five T20Is against New Zealand, which included a top score of 90 not out, at an average of 46 and a strike-rate of 131.42.
Currently, Rizwan is captaining the Multan Sultans in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and has made 187 runs in five matches at an average of 37.40 and a strike-rate of 125.50.
