Legendary Pakistan pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar believes Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Sohail lacked maturity during the recently concluded Twenty20 series against Australia.
Zaman scored two runs in two games at an average of one, while Rizwan accumulated 45 runs in three matches at an average of 15. As for Haris, he amassed 18 runs in three games at an average of six.
Akhtar was disappointed with the fact that the trio couldn’t put up any strong performances in the series, which Australia won 2-0.
“Our batsmen Haris Sohail, Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan lack the maturity of that of Australian batsman Steve Smith,” Akhtar said on his YouTube channel as quoted by the Business Recorder.
