Former Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur believes that the national team should bring in Mohammad Hasnain and drop Mohammad Irfan for the third Twenty20 International against Australia.
Hasnain wasn’t picked for the first two matches, while Irfan conceded 31 runs off two overs in the first Twenty20 International, which was abandoned due to heavy rain, and finished with figures of 1-27 off four overs in the second game, which Australia won by seven wickets.
Despite bowling well in the second Twenty20 International, Arthur feels that Irfan should make way for Hasnain in the third and final match, which will be held in Perth on Friday.
“I’d play Hasnain, you need a right-armer and he’d replace Irfan. Hasnain brings a different angle,” Arthur was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
Pakistan trail 1-0 in the series and will be looking to win in Perth in order to end the series as a 1-1 draw.
