Former Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur believes that Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Sohail have failed to live up to expectations in the ongoing Twenty20 series against Australia.
In the two Twenty20 Internationals that have been played, Zaman made a golden duck in the first match and two runs in the second.
Rizwan has fared better as he scored 31 and 14 respectively.
As for Haris, he scored four runs in the first game and six in the second.
“The rest of the batsmen weren’t good enough. Fakhar Zaman failing at the top leads to that. Rizzi is showing some promise but the ability to keep rotating the strike is missing. Haris Sohail played out of character, I’m of the opinion he should be there when the spinners are bowling,” Arthur was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
